This is an old generation of battery sensor, please replace with Smart Battery Sensor

The Smart Battery Monitor monitors your batteries and informs you when to recharge your batteries to prevent battery damage from sulfation or even deep discharge. Due to the prompt and timely actions, you can take using the Smart Batter Monitor, the life expectancy of your battery can be significantly extended.

Working Principle

When the sensor is successfully installed and added to the system via the mobile application, the sensor will start checking the status of up to two battery banks every 3h and notify you about any relevant information or prompt actions required to properly maintain your batteries.

The sensor status is shown on the Active sensors page in the mobile application. It shows the current-voltage of the batteries via numbers and a gauge.

By tapping on the battery sensor icon in the Active sensors page you can see how the battery voltage changed over time. The graph shows batteries' charging cycles. Here you can also find out the total charging time as well as the batteries' minimum and maximum voltage. If you are using the Active Prevention Package you can check data for the last 6 months, while if you are using the Basic Prevention Package the data is available for the last 7 days only.

If the battery drops below the voltage threshold defined in the mobile application, the sensor will prompt you to recharge your batteries to avoid damage due to sulfation and deep discharge. Also, the sensor will inform you when the charging started and finished.

The alerts will be forwarded to you, and optionally your marina if you are using the Active Prevention Package, via a notification on your smartphone and e-mail.

One sensor monitors 2 battery banks (unlimited number of batteries in the bank). The sensor is available in both 12V and 24V versions.

This sensor is designed to be used exclusively for informative purposes while the boat is at its contract berth under the surveillance of your home marina covered with the Sigfox signal. In order to work, the sensor requires a valid annual subscription. The sensor is not designed to be used while the boat is in navigation and under the owner's surveillance or at a temporary berth in another marina not covered with the Sigfox signal.

The sensor is manufactured by Adeunis ARF8191BA, France.
