Positioning the sensor

Before installing the Smart Battery Sensor determine a suitable place to position it. Place it immediately next to the battery charger or the batteries. The sensor is delivered along with connecting cables with safety fuses and 8-mm cable lugs which suit most chargers or battery terminals. Connect the red cables marked with 1 and 2 to the positive (+) terminal of the appropriate battery bank (e.g. service to 1, engine to 2) according to the wiring diagram. Connect the black conductor to the joint negative (-) terminal for both battery banks. If you connect the sensor to just one battery group, please configure this via the mobile application appropriately.

Attach the sensor casing in a vertical position in the highest possible position on the boat in order to get the best signal possible.
